F/U to dying IKEA slip cover.

Epic FAIL.

The lighter cover on the right was my own fault.  I thought I was smarter then the instructions and didn't leave it in as long as they recommended.

However, I don't believe my washer is big enough to handle the hugeness of the HOVAS because they look almost tie dyed.  Since we have to get a new slipcover at this point and I have already purchased the dye, I am going to keep experimenting.

Re: F/U to dying IKEA slip cover.

  • Maybe try in the bathtub and stir it around periodically.  Good luck!

  • Hoping you're still around to reply; but am very curious as to the final result of it. Since IKEA isn't selling the cover i want (baby yellow) I'm thinking of getting a white cover and use a very small amount of yellow dye on it. Thanks in advance !
