As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

This is the first time I've been on here today and I'm confused with some of the changes.
Do you have a pretty active local board now? That would be a great way to meet some people in your new area. I was hoping I could find some Nesties here, but my local board is completely dead, lol.
FYI:
#1. The national boards are back up! And have not been updated yet.
#2. One of the girls on the book club board sent Nest Kathleen a message about the FB/Twitter ridiculousness. This is the response she got: "Thanks so much for your feedback. We have heard your suggestions and will be removing the Twitter and Facebook share options from the local message boards as soon as we can. We will also not be including these options in the new message boards going forward. The updated changes should occur by next week.

That's about the only time someone posts on my local also. It's usually someone enthusiastic about moving to KY and asking for recs, then... *crickets*crickets*
No one has posted on my local board in 45 days.
Also, the changes + the security system on my work computer = completely effs-up the format and I can't use it (like everything is jumbled, links don't work, etc). If they do this to BNOTB, I might not be able to nest at work anymore.
