My FI is a jeweler and and I love to knit, so he bought me a book on knitting wire and some supplies. I've tried a couple times and I cannot figure out how to make it look good and some stitches just make me give up. Has anyone done this and have pointers for me? A woman he works with has offered to help me crochet wire, which I do plan to learn, but I don't want the book and the needles to go to waste.
Re: Has anyone knit wire?
Interesting...my friend has crocheted wire with beads and it looks really cool. She made me an awesome necklace to match my prom dress when I was in high school...lol. Sorry I'm no help, but just wanted to say that I'm sure it takes some amount of practice. Good luck!
ETA: I want and googled and holy wow are there some cool things out there!
