What are you cooking this weekend?
I haven't yet menu-planned for this weekend. We will be home all day Sunday, most likely, so I am looking for inspiration. It would be a good day to try something new and time-consuming for dinner. What are you planning to make this weekend?

Ha! I'm so looking forward to trying them. It's a vanilla/chocolate marbled cake with espresso and mascarpone filling. Sounds good, right?
Tonight (Saturday) I'm doing chicken-pot-pie pasties and rice krispie treats.
Sunday, I am not sure, but I think it will involve homemade bread and a soup. It's cold and rainy here (unusual as it's just the beginning of autumn) and I am in the mood for warming, comfort foods.
I am hosting a small brunch for a few girlfriends in the morning. I have a french toast casserole (allrecipes . com) in the fridge and will also make a spinach/cheese/mushroom quiche in the morning.
We'll probably get dinner out tomorrow evening and I may fix something simple on Sunday.
