Pest Control?

Hey, all!  :O)

We've been getting a ton of flyers in the mail from various pest control companies, and I know that the former owners of our house used a service.  Me being from up north, I know that hardly anyone up there hires a pest control service.  But what about down here?  Is it necessary?  I'd hate for our nice new house to be eaten by termites or something!  LOL

Termites aren't really a big deal here in SA, my husband used to work for an extermination company in Atlanta where you really had to have a service to prevent them. We've had our house for almost 2 years and we just go around the house inside and out with a spray to kill any bugs and prevent new ones from coming. We do it every summer and it seems to be working well. If you don't mind doing it I'd say to try it out.

...we have scorpions (not the black ones) and seriously huge centipedes (like 1/2 wide and 6 inches long). We seriously exterminate here.

It makes me feel better that our house is sprayed! I am from up north too, as you know, and I FREAK if I see a bug! So, if I didn't have it sprayed, I'd be a mess! Just for your own sanity, I would get it sprayed! Good luck! Oh, we use Apple Pest Control and LOVE them, if you needed a rec!
