Friday random
So because of all of the Nest nonesense this morning, my local started an off-board discussion. They have broken it down into two tabs, General and Baby related. This makes me so very happy! I now can conversate with them, without having to deal with all of the child stuff they put up there. This makes me very happy!

My joke is that I have a degree in English, so I have the right to bastardize it anyway I damn well please.
My BFF's husband uses one that I like: Philosiphocate.
My dad's was "Acluistic" which is used to describe a person who obviously doesn't have a clue.
I have used it when chat seems to informal, and converse seems wrong grammtically. Though in looking it up, I am wrong, and your are completely correct, converse should have been the appropriate term. My apologies, and hopefully you got a good snicker for the afternoon.
The tab idea is a great one for those local boards!
The ones near me are all daycare/pediatrician recommendations.
