Because our application was approved! We go this evenin to look at 3 Great Dane siblings to see if one fits with our family!

That's awesome. My lil cavalier's BFF back home was a Great Dane named Walter, love those gentle giants.
Walter was also brittle colored (brown and black tiger stripes). Didn't know they came in that color, he was very pretty.
YAY! I love Danes. They are such good dogs if trained properly. I'm glad you found a rescue that would work with you.

Aww so she's still small(er). Haha she's probably already bigger than both my fully grown bostons. I'm excited to see pics, I don't think I've ever seen a Great Dane puppy.
The only brand of food our Dane can eat is Eukanuba-- everything else makes/made him violently ill. We tried Blue Buffalo, Science Diet, Natural Choice. He has a super sensitive stomach, I think alot of Danes do.

This. We've had him on Purina One (I know) for his whole life because he is allergic to everything. He also gets skin allergies semi regularly, but his vet says that it possibly is a FL thing because he never had this problem in TX.
But again I'm so happy for you! I wish they could be friends. lol

Awe, she is a cutie!
Brother and his FI feed their dane something specific but I can't remember what it was exactly. He was abused before they got him and only weighted about 110lbs and was only being fed 4 cups a day when he should have been getting 8. He still hardly eats enough but he is such a sweet boy and much happier now that they have him. I know Calle will be with you guys too!
