New here - Intro and a question

Hello! My name is Kelly. DH is Brian. We have been married 2 years, and we have 2 labs: Baylee is 7 years old, and Elli is 9 months.
A few months ago, Elli injured her rear left leg, and we recently found out she has a complete tear of her cruciate ligament in that knee. We tried rest and various meds for about 3 months, but she has not gotten any better. She is going to have TPLO surgery next week. The consult is Wednesday, and she will probably have surgery on Thursday.
Has anyone been through this surgery with their dog? If so, any tips on recovery time would be really helpful! TIA!

Just finished recovery this week, but my dog had a traditional. I'm sure someone will come along and post all the CCL surgery posts in a bit.
It's been ten weeks and we are just starting to give her a few minutes unleashed outside.

Ziva I five weeks post op from ACL surgery. There seems to be a lot of knee surgery goon around these days.
Yhe best advice I got was that this will be worse for you than for our dog.
