9lbs of pork shoulder blade roast... what do I make for dinner?
Any ideas on how to prepare a tasty and tender pork dish with this type of meat (pleasing for little palates as well)?
Would it be recommended to cut this type of meat and freeze half, since I don't need that much in one sitting?
Thank you.
ETA: It was on sale at our local shop. And it is boneless.
Nutmeg, cilantro, sage, mint, thyme... these are a few of my favorite things!

We have four children; one left us too soon.

I'd make pulled pork! A 2.5lb bone-in roast makes at least 4-6 sandwiches . So I'd probably cut your roast in thirds and freeze the two remaining roasts for crock pot pulled pork down the road (since I can throw it straight into the crockpot frozen and make more pulled pork!)
Just an FYI, this cut is also called boston butt, so if you google that (and pork shoulder recipes) you'll probably find some other ideas besides my pulled pork obsession.

Carnitas - basically the Mexican version of pulled pork. Great in tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas. Or, even with BBQ sauce for pulled pork sandwiches!
