Shampoo Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good natural shampoo and conditioner? (Please not vinegar...) These are not cheap, so I'm looking for recommendations rather than trying a bunch of products. My hair I guess is normal, wavy but I wear it straight, and pretty frizzy. TIA )

I have similar hair.  I have tried Burt's Bees, Avalon Organics, Gudonya, and Nature's Gate.  The only one I liked that has worked well so far is Nature's Gate.  You can get it at Target or Whole Foods.  WF is typically cheaper near me.

I have tried quite a few brands also, and I always go back to Gudonya Too.  It is amazing for my curly hair.

I use Alba Botanicals (coconut milk is my favorite type).  Or I use Dr. Bronner's "Baby Mild" as shampoo and John Masters Organic Conditioner.

I use Shea Moisture.  For my fine, thin, 2A hair, a little goes a long way.  It is moisturizing and helps with my frizz.  However, I tend to have a heavy hand with my leave-ins and with the Shea Moisture it is easy for me to use too much and look like a greaseball.

I have been using "no poo" for a couple of months now and after the initial adjustment period, it is awesome!! I have medium-thick, shoulder length wavy hair and never imagined I could go without products.

Thanks everyone! A friend of mine also recommended Organic Excellence shampoo and conditioner, which is not cheap, but she gave me some to try, so I'll see how it goes. If I like it, we could order together and save on shipping ) Has anyone else tried it? She says her hair is so much healthier now than it has been, but she occasionally has to use some baking soda on her hair when showering because her water is too hard..?

I will also have to look into Nature's Gate!

When I can't afford imports I swear by Natures Gate. If you're brave enough you could ween yourself off of shampoo altogether and clean your hair just with a soft brush eventually it wont look greasy and you can use a little rosewater for a pleasant sent.
