Cough/cold related- is my dr just going to tell me to take meds and go home?
I started coughing last week on Wed, but I felt fine through Thursday. I started taking Mucinex on Friday and my coughing ironically started getting worse throughout the weekend.
I had a bunch of plans for the weekend which I had to subsequently cancel since I felt worse and my coughing had gotten worse.
DH urged me to make an appt with dr, so I did make an appt with dr today for later this morning, but is she just going to tell me to keep on taking Mucinex and send me on my way? I'd rather just stay home today then and not even bother going...

Personally, I won't go but I very rarely go for anything. Of course, if there was blood in your phlem or you were immunosupressed or elderly, etc, I'd def go.
This is me in a nutshell- no fever here either. Am at the doctor's office now. Dh is wondering if I have bronchitis too....
