I love the shoes!!!
I think you could use a dressier top since it is an engagement party for YOU, the white seems kind of plain jane to me... but it is a cute top! I just think something a little brighter or festive would be better for that type of gathering.
Where is the party being hosted?
I would probably wear a dress (or skirt) regardless of where it is, but I would definitely wear a dress if it is in a restaurant/banquet room. I love the shoes though. I think something like either of these would look good with the shoes.

It's a very causal affair. Everyone (most likely including the groom) will be in jeans. It's at a local rotary building and we're having BBQ, so nothing fancy.
Ideally I would wear a springy dress, but I had an issue with my skin in the fall, so they are severely scarred and I am very self-conscious about it. As cute as it is, I haven't ventured to hose/tights.
ETA: I love the dresses in the links!
Totally understandable. I am really liking blouses lately so I think something like these would be cute.
