FREE FOOD!
Hah, check it out.. Friday night the H is gone for a game, and even though I went grocery shopping I was craving something beefy and greasy that did not have to be made by me. So I run to the Jack n Box right around the corner from the house and go thru the drive thru. I get to the window and the lady said they were out of the Sirloin burgers for the meal I ordered, and that she would get me something else free of charge. She gave me the whole combo meal with the seasoned curly fries and a Sourdough Jack all for free! Just because they had ran out of the other.
Nothing beats free food, expecially when it is unexpected!
Love it, Erin!
hmmm, for me it had to have been the rosemary truffled sweet potato fries I shared with my girlfriend at happy hour on Friday.
Though yesterday it was almost 70 degrees so we went to Pinkberry- I noshed on a green tea/coconut swirl with toasted almonds. It was pretty ridic.
Grilled cheese sandwich made with olive oil instead of butter! I had never tried making it like that, so I was surprised at how it turned out. I liked it much better than making it with butter. PLUS it's better for me!
If we had waited for the hibachi grill, I would probably say that, but I wasn't overly impressed with ordering off the menu.
Thin Mints from the freezer.
Also, a new recipe I made last night. Chunky Meat Chili, or something like that.
I made two kinds of pork tenderloin for dinner Saturday, and I can't decide between them.
One was stuffed with bread crumbs, garlic & dijon mustard and then wrapped in proscuitto, and the other was stuffed with spinach, garlic, and pecorino cheese. Actually, crispy proscuitto probably puts that one in the lead...yum!
Whole wheat tortilla, spinach, calabacitas, black beans and goat cheese.

Tortellini soup. I'm almost positive I could eat the entire pot of it all by myself... and it's even better the next day, so I'm glad I had some leftover for lunch today!
