It feels nice to be able to buy things again
Not having a raise in 4 years put a lot of pressure on me to budget as living expenses went up. Well, since I got my severance package and start a job in a few weeks, I've been spending... like crazy. I seriously need to reel it in. FAST! I can't take advantage of my good fortune.
Luckily I can justify everything I bought. New work clothes and work shoes. But I also just bought myself this. I can't wait for it's arrival!

Re: It feels nice to be able to buy things again
Yes! I have always been a jewelry hor, so this is perfect! I'll have to keep my current organizer because I think I have more earrings than this holds... or eventually will. I'm that type of person that sees a whole and wants it filled. Hey now...
This. That is awesome!!
TWSS!
That is awesome! Enjoy this-
I was just telling T the other day that is another reason I love not having a kid- I can splurge and buy whatever the *** I want and not worry about dipping into jr's college fund.
Of course this was because I was justifying the 400 dollar sheet set I bought at Crate and Barrel. Lol!
oooh, that is really neat!
You deserve to start your new job off with some new clothes and a fresh start, so don't feel too bad about the spending! Just try to find some good sales and it shouldn't damage your account too bad, I hope! FWIW, I always buy some new clothes for every new job I start.
My husband FINALLY got this through his head the other month. He was like you know, lets spend this money on US. *** everything else! We pay our bills on time, so lets do it!
That's really neat! Good purchase!
I know the feeling! Buying new clothes is justifiable for sure. And a splurge just to make you feel that much better!
Those mirrors are genius! If I was a big accessories girl, I would definitely get one too!
