I just signed up to take a yoga class. I have no idea what to wear and I don't want to look out of place.

stretchy yoga pants
tank top or tshirt that is more form fitting, loose tshirts fall when you're upside down
no shoes necessary so you can wear whatever and will take it off.
remember to bring something to tie up long hair!

If you don't have yoga specific clothes then just think 'fitted and flexible'. Meaning the fabric has to let you move (no jeans - and yes, someone came to a class once in jeans) but not fall open when you move (some baggier tops, shorts, etc.)

lol. someone wore basketball shorts once, and I looked at her with wide eyes. She had bike shorts underneath though.
I will definitely be wearing form fitting top and bottom. Not lookung to expose myself to the room.

Don't be scared!! I am totally jealous. I loved loved loved loved my yoga class. I was really sad to have to leave it. I've tried to find something here in China, but so far no luck. This post makes me think I need to look harder!!
Thanks! I hope you find a class. I'm surprised its not more popular over there. It seems like it has a lot of Asian influence. I'm excited to try the class. Hopefully, I won't fall on my head attempting downward dog.
