Starting Over
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Work vent

I just have to vent for a minute.

My corporate office just emailed me and asked that I get a new copy of our Workman's Comp certificate, as ours just expired.

I called. The CSR asked me for our policy number and Federal Tax ID number. Gave them to her, she said the Tax ID number didn't go with that policy. Oh, and my name wasn't listed as an authorized person to deal with, so even if it did match, she couldn't fax it to me. I asked if my manager was listed, gave her name...nope, she's not listed, either. "Have your corporate office call us to request it." You mean, the people that told ME to get it for THEM? Sure.

I went back to tell my manager what happened, she got snappy with me and said, "I've never had a problem doing this before, I'll call them." She called...and the CSR didn't even ASK for the Federal Tax ID number! Faxed it right over.

WTF, man.

This is why I drink.
