  • I just started Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James.

Honestly, I don't remember the last book I read :(

  • Jodi Picolut's new one - Lone Wolf. It's not capturing my attention like all of her other books have, but it's still pretty good.

I also just read London is the Best City in America by Laura Dave - hadn't heard of her, but that one was really good.

Also recently read the three by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan - Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist, Dash & Lily's Book of Dares and Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List - all really cute.

  • The Count of Monte Cristo. Its taking me forever.
  • The Hunger Games - I haven't picked it up since we were on the plane ride home from FL in January. I read it on the way to FL, and home from FL, and haven't touched it since. This makes me sad b/c I'm itching to find out what happens!

The last book I read was The Help. Before that, I do not remember.

I'm looking forward to being able to read again!

  • I am reading 11/22/63 by Stephen King.  It is really good.  I last finished Heart and Soul by Maeve Binchey.  I am not sure what I want to read next.
  • I a currently reading The Volunteer, By Barbara Taylor Sissel. She is supposed to be similar to Jodi Picoult.

I just finished reading The Blessings of the Animals by Katrina Kittle. I LOVED it, but I am a sucker for veterinarian/horse fiction.

I'm not sure what I am going to read next. I am hoping 1 of my 4 hold requests from the library will be available for my kindle by the time I finish my current book.

Kare- Let me know how you like Lone Wolf when you finish it. Her last book didn't do it for me either and now I'm kind of weary of this one.

  • Just about to start Olive Kitteredge. Just finished Anna and the French Kiss. It was cute!
  • Recently finished By A Thread which is the latest in the Elemental Assassin Series.  Love that series.  It's Urban Fantasy with a smidgen of romance.

I have a bunch of library books.  Not sure which one I'll finish next.  I've started a bunch but none are holding my attention long enough to finish them.

  • Right now I am reading Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith. I'm really loving it. Historical ficton and vampires??? YES....PLEASE!

I just finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. It was beautiful but sad.

What will I read next? I'm not sure yet. I have my eye on the Brother Odd series from Dean Koontz.

I will report back - it won't take me more than a week to finish. I read at lunch all the time so I go through books quickly.

It's not bad yet, it's just not awesome so far. I have found that with a few of her books. I feel liked the last one, but now that I look it up I can't really remember it. I just saw that she has a YA novel coming out with her daughter  - I'll definitely read that.

Random, but I hate when you find a discrepancy in a book and there's one in this one which bugged me even though it's SO not vital to the story. (not really a spoiler, but I won't put specifics just in case). I know they write in shifts, but how do the editors not catch that kind of stuff?

...and why am I so anal that it bugs me so bad??? ha!

  • i forgot i also finished Bossypants by Tina Fey for book club. i listened to it in the car. she is the voice and i heard it's better as an audio book with her "performing" than if you just read the book. we all liked the first half better than the second half. i would recommend it though. we are reading Special Topics in Calamity Physics next and i'm hoping my hold at the libes comes in soon because it's 600 pages and i only have a month to read it.

Yeah I saw that she is doing a YA novel and am interested in that.

Is this discrepancy in your current book or Sing Me Home? If its in Sing Me Home now I want to know!! LOL SMH was the first book of her's that I struggled to read. I think b/c it hit close to home for me at the time but it took me close to 2 weeks to finish it when I read most of her books in 2 days.

  • I'm on 2 at the moment. For fun I'm reding The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, the final book of the Dragon Tattoo trilogy. However, it picks up where the second book leaves off, and I finished that well over a year ago.. I think I need to go back and reread it, because I'm getting lost. For not fun but information, I'm reading Minding My Midochondria by Dr. Terry Wahls. It's about a diet plan developed to help curb the relapses of MS. It was recommended by my neurologist, I'm not trying to treat myself! I've gotten a few lectures when people have asked about it, so I'm just putting it out there lol
  • I just finished The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks, and now I'm reading the newest Robyn Carr book.

  • I'm about half way through A Game Of Thrones.  I imagine the next book, A Clash Of Kings will be up next for me, provided I get it from the library soon enough.  I also have Mindy Kaling's Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me on deck.
