As some on here know H and I have been looking for our first home. This last Saturday we found the one. This house is perfect for us and the layout is exactly what we wanted. It had been on the market since August and it is a Short Sale. We decided to put an offer in tonight, but yesterday our realtor called and told us someone had written up an offer and it would be submitted this morning. We rushed over to her office last night to put in our offer. We didn't offer much less than the asking price. So fingers crossed we get it. It is totally our luck someone would put in an offer the same time we wanted to. I just hope they lowballed and we get it.
Short Sales kind of scare me, but our realtor doesn't seem to concerned since it is through a local bank. We also live in a smaller area.
