Going grocery shopping tonight. We are trying to eat at home and save $$. I enjoy cooking and am fairly good at it. We both ( due to several outside circumstances) have gotten lazy.
Im also in a rut, making the same 5 things on repeat.
Im looking to crockpot at least 1-2 times. Don't mind more intricate recipes for days I'm home or weekends.
Fridays are meatless right now for lent but I like the idea of 2 meatless dinners!!
You ladies always impress me with your recipes. I stink
At planning and things generally get thrown away after I buy for one recipe them remainder rots.
Dh likes pork, I don't love it but trying to expand so of you have something yummy and easy ill try it!
Basically I'll try anything once. And I need tips on reusing and not letting things go to waste. I also wouldn't mind leftovers or extra meals to freeze.
Heck while we're at it any easy breakfast that is grab n go. Or fun filling lunches I can make ahead for dh that don't require reheating?!
Tjanks for reading my all over the place post. My insomnia is bad tonight so I'm trying to make the most of it!!
Oh and I'm allergic to coconut.
I also bake as stress relief so anything new and interesting toss that on too!!
This board is my favorite to lurk on and hopefully once I'm focused I can contribute some things back to you lovely ladies!!

I have a fairly large crock-pot tag in my blog.
Here is my Meatless Monday tag as well.

When ever I run out of crock pot meal ideas I look on this blog. crockpot365.blogspot.com
Since you like baking, what about making something baked that you can take for breakfast each morning? I make muffins, granola, fruited breads, etc.

I don't have a blog, but here are some new things I've made recently and loved:
Lemon Garlic Linguine and Shrimp
Pasta Fagioli (I subbed white beans and added an 8 oz can of tomato sauce FYI)
Chicken with Leeks and Sundried Tomatoes
I get lots of ideas from the Blog Updates post each day, so spend a little time browsing around.
PS I LOVE your siggy pic

This freezes beautifully. Courgette is a British name for Zucchini.
I will make it with these

I keep batches of both in my freezer for a day that I don't want to cook. King Arthur's Baking Book is a favorite cookbook.
My favorite slow-cooker recipe is these spicy ribs in tomato sauce. Bonus points that country-style pork ribs are super-cheap.

Pot roast is always a good slow-cooker meal:

This is a yummy vegetarian-style dish, but you could add bacon or chicken or what have you to it:

Cooking with Crouton: A Food Blog
I have some really good crock pot meals under my crock pot tag, my favorite is the Crockpot Asian pork with mushrooms.
Here is my vegetarian tag too, the Tortellini Primavera was amazing.
I just started to bake consistently, my favorite so far is the Chocolate Wasted Cake, so here is my dessert tag.
Maybe a day late for this trip, but I love this website:

She even has a crockpot section. I made Crock Pot Kalua Pig earlier this week and served it over brown rice with a veggie. It turned out wonderful. Also love the Crock Pot Asian Pork with Mushrooms. I've made the minestrone and the turkey meatballs to go in it (extra protein) several times. Every recipe of hers that I have tried has been DELICIOUS and they are focused on being healthy which is a bonus.
