A friend of mine is getting married in May - this will be the first wedding I've been to since i was a child (excluding my Sister's where I didn't follow protocol).
They're having a "beer and wine tasting party" hosted by someone else.
Am I supposed to take a present to this? Is this their engagement party?
It's a coworker and he hasn't been in at the same time as me since I got it to ask him!

Re: WR: Gifts?
Bwahaha, I wanted to go to TK to do some research and immediately after I clicked on TK it sent me back to the TN and was like "hey now that you're married, you might like TN better"
Can you email him?
I would assume it's a separate party but I dunno..I never had an engagement party nor have I been to one.
It sounds like an engagement party.
For things like that I usually just bring a congrats card and a bottle of wine.
For the actual wedding or a known bridal shower, then I would get an actual gift.
