Crazy tornado cut off a mom's legs
http://www.wlwt.com/r/30618257/detail.htmlStephanie Decker tied her 5 y/o and 8 y/o up in a blanket to protect them (which I would have never thought of) and shielded them as her house was ripped apart. All sorts of debris fell on top of her and cut off her legs, but she survived...
Wow, just... wow.
I'm glad KDuv is okay (and any other Nestie that may have been affected by the storms).
Re: Crazy tornado cut off a mom's legs
Whoa, that is crazy!
She had some good instincts, that really sucks she lost her legs.
My Blog
Right? No house and the whole legless situation? No bueno.
I saw this on the news too.
It's crazy to think that the same storm that killed and injured so many people skipped over us (well, sort of...tornadoes touched down but no major damage here). This seems to be happening often the last few years.
This weather is freaky. Last week it was in the 70s. Friday was tornadoes everywhere. Monday was below freezing and we had 3 inches of snow. Now today it's back up to 65 degrees.
