How do you make your tzatziki sauce?

I'm finding several different versions online, some with plain yogurt, some with Greek, some with sour cream and mayo.  Also, I've seen a few with mint, which I'm not sure about.

Here is what I was thinking to include: Greek yogurt, cucumbers, lemon juice, garlic, dill, s&p.

Am I missing something?  How do you make yours?

That's what I do too...plus about a tablespoon of olive oil...it helps the texture IMO.  I like to grate my cucumbers and drain them before combining all the ingredients.

Sour cream and mayo in tzatziki is an abomination. :P

I strain yogurt with a cheesecloth over night, add cucumbers, minced garlic and lots of salt.

I made it last night for the first time and it was really good.  I used Greek yogurt, cucumber, salt, minced garlic, lemon juice, about 1 teaspoon each of fresh mint and fill, minced.

We used to add EVOO, then I decided to cut calories and realized I notice no difference with or without it. We just do diced, drained cukes, garlic, lemon and s&p in plain greek yogurt. Now I want some!
