I wish chinchillas were naturally friendlier
A local pet shelter just got 26 chinchillas that need homes and OMG they are so cute.
I wish they were cuddlier like kittens, though. We chinchilla-sit for our friends sometimes so I do get a bit of a chin-fix.

oooh, I love chinchillas! I wanted one for a while but ended up getting a sugar glider instead because of the size.
I would love to have one!
They got 26? Damn.
Yay cuteness!
Oh, he's fine. He'll let you pet him and pick him up, but they're just rodent-y, like hamsters and guinea pigs. They're not so much interested in hanging out with you the way that cats and dogs are. More friendly than hedgehogs, though!
