The Nest repinning our blog posts..

I am sitting online just trying to keep myself busy. I clicked on one of the recipes that the Nest repinned, and it takes you HERE to these boards, not to the blog!!! Has this been talked about before??

They came on here about a month ago and said they loved our pictures so much on the daily blog post that they were going to pin them and hopefully generate traffic to our blogs. So, your stuff gets sent all over without you really knowing it and the chances of people scrolling through the post to find your link is slim and now people who like your picture can see what you are having for dinner, how you feel about your in-laws, and when you're baby is due :P

I remember seeing that post but I assumed they would be actually linking them to our blogs. Not sure what I was thinking, duh. Ugh, hopefully they reconsider this like they did with the FB links.

I think an email to Nest Kathleen or whoever is responsible for this is in order. From all of us. That's not OK. They shouldn't be linking here, they should be linking to our blogs.

Same here. That just seems like common sense...

I noticed this too, and so far don't think I have been pinned. I am pretty sure no one will scroll through to find the blog they are interested in.

Even if you haven't been pinned, if anybody clicks to the BU post, they can scroll through to view the other posts. While that in a sense is good, I don't like that they post our SN for the world to see.

The pins definitely should be going to the individual blogs.

I saw that some of my stuff was pinned. Did TN think about what happens when they delete old posts in the future? those links to the posts aren't going to go anywhere.
