Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
My lap top screen has been flickering a lot. It will start off slow and then progressively get faster. Once this happens, I just turn my computer off. Does anyone have experience with laptops and know what this may mean? Thanks in advance.
Re: Laptop Screen
My not-so-expert advice is that your computer's crapping out. Go to Best Buy or Staples or something equivalent and see what their computer nerds say.
Also? Back it the eff up while you still can.
Most likely, it's the connection between your screen/monitor and the rest of the computer but it's better to be safe than sorry.

You can have someone replace the screen yes, but go to Best Buy. They offer free diagnosis of your computer and can tell you exactly what it is doing.
More than likely it is a loose connection from being dropped, tossed around in a bag or by over heating (by leaving it in your car, etc).
Thank you
