WTF our receptionist is a pathological liar!!! Seriously --- I can tell when she's doing it. Sometimes it's harmless (though still annoying) :
her: What are you eating?
me: stuffed peppers
her: oh I thought so!! we had those last week! <--- i am confident this is not true based on the fact that she "just had" or "just did" every. single. thing. I talk about
Sometimes it's a real problem:
her: Do you want me to give this (original) document to (assistant) to scan?
me: I don't know, did you scan it when it came in through fax
her: Oh I'm not sure, I wasn't here when the fax came in
me: Uhhh yeah ya were, you HANDED IT TO ME
Anyway it's just getting ridiculous and driving me crazy. She's also a major lurker (not just w/ me, w/ everyone) and has been spoken to about it but will NOT stop. I try to be nice but every time you engage her in even half of a sentence of a conversation she latches on and won't leave forEVER.
Wow --- well I guess I needed to get that out!
WTF...My neighbor is craaazzzyyyy.....
The other night it was raining and we find two dogs running around, one with a leash on, the other with a harness on. They came right into our garage to get out of the rain. We figured someone was walking the dogs and they got away. We called the number on the phone and here is where the craziness started.
He didn't know dogs were gone. Wasn't concerned that they were missing.
He said he lived somewhere really far away from us. Then later said he was joking.
Couldn't figure out where we lived although we live on the same street...about 3 houses apart and across the street...and had the garage door open
He finally comes to get the dogs and was able to put one dog in the car. The other dog won't get in so....
GET THIS... He starts to drive off while holding the leash so he is dragging this golden retriever puppy along with him...through this huge puddle that was at least a foot deep.
So, I run out, grab the leash and say that I will walk him to his house bc that is NOT safe.
He starts yelling at me, cussing me out, calling me a C word, telling me to mind my own business, etc.
He was so scary y'all...he had a real crazy look in his eyes. I'm glad my hubby wasn't home bc I was honestly scared that he was going to punch me and I know that Andy would have protected me which probably would have enticed him further. Andy wants to say somehting to him, but I just want to give him wide berth.
What's also really weird is that his wife didn't even say anything about they way he was yelling at me! She jsut stood there and took the dog, even after I told him what he was doing!
My mom wanted me to call the cops on him, but to tell you the truth, Im kinda scared about what he would do if I did! All that for returning his stinking dogs to him! UGH!
wow crazy! lol and def entertaining! i hate people who abuse their dogs! seriously!

WTF am I gaining weight even though I am eating right and exercising?? I'm going to sign up for personal training sessions at the gym, and I'm going for a physical/bloodwork tomorrow. It's not normal to watch what you eat and gain a pound a week (nevermind that ticker down there). Even if you aren't eating "perfect" I should at least be maintaining. I'm not bingeing for christsakes. I'm getting very frustrated with the way I look and feel.
She must not like herself much and needs to be in everyone else business. This is Crazy... MY WTF is with my youngest Sister. I love her, but some times her action and words are to be handle with a bunch in the face with "Who do you think you are? comment right after...
@Rach: Your receptionist needs to get a life! That would drive me nuts too!
@Becka: Are you serious!?!? I would call the humane society or animal patrol or whatever you need to because apparently those dogs aren't being treated very well.
@Alli: Pre-pregnancy, I had the same problem as you. Sometimes I really think it is mind over matter. DH always said I thought about it/stressed about it too much and therefore it didn't come off. Have you tried eating 5-6 small meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism going?

I know! I almost called the humane society but I didn't want to till Andy got home. This guy really scared me! I'm keeping an eye on the house and watching for the doggies...if I see anything else go on I will definitely call. I may call anyways bc it really bugs me but I'm nervous to do so when I'm home with the baby alone a lot. I'll talk to Andy about it more tonight when he gets home.
@Mel- I hope you are right. This is just very unusual for me to gain 12 lbs in one year. Especially since I watch what I eat and exercise pretty regularly. I just hope I don't have something really wrong, like a hormonal issue. So frustrating
@Becka OMG that guy is nuts! Please stay away from him - he sounds mentally ill (literally)
Ugh, that's a hard situation! Definitely the cops/humane society should know about this incident, but I definitely see why you might be scared to call it in. Could you make an anonymous call to the cops and emphasize that you think it would be dangerous for you if this neighbor knew you called him in? I hope this gets resolved!

A10 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination: San Francisco!
WTF online deals? I bought an online deal for a sushi restaurant in downtown Birmingham since I knew I'd be there for work, and when I arrived yesterday the place was closed. CLOSED, as in everything gone but some drywall and a few pieces of plywood!!! Since I already had money in the meter, in its place I went to a Middle Eastern restaurant next door where the guy proceeded to hit on me the whole time even AFTER he asked if I was married and I told him yes!!! It made me quite uncomfortable so I pretended to be full and had him wrap up the rest of my lunch to take back to the branch.
Anyhow I'm glad this sushi restaurant has multiple locations; now I just hope they let me use it after the promotional value epxires since I won't be near another location until July!!!
