Favorite appetizers for a party of 30-40?

Hi everyone~

I am in search of appetizers and munchies for my Dad's 70th birthday. 

So far, the menu consists of sub sandwiches, bruschetta, deviled eggs, and guacamole.

cheese and crackers is always a good standby...or to go the italian route with the bruschetta you can do mini caprese.  basil leaf/mozerrella ball/grape tomato on a toothpick drizzled with olive oil and balsamic.

Mini franks wrapped in puff pastry always disappear fast at my house parties. I know it's cheaper/easier to use the canned crescent roll dough, but I think the puff pastry tastes so much better.

I've also made wings, corn and black bean salsa with chips, potato skins or mini twice-baked potatoes, cocktail meatballs in grape jelly/chili sauce, sausage dip, shrimp cocktail ring, cheese and crackers, and mac and cheese.

Our housewarming party fell on the same day as a football game, so a lot of people watched in our living room. I made a pot of chili and a skillet of cornbread, and I put out bowls of sour cream and shredded Cheddar for topping. I also made a crockpot full of pulled pork, with a bag of potato rolls on the side. Nearly all of it was gone by the end of the day.

spinach stuffed mushrooms; bacon wrapped chicken, shrimp, little smokies (basically anything bacon wrapped is good in my book!); Knorr vegetable soup/spinach dip

Some kind of spiced or sugared nuts, fresh fruit and/or veggie tray, potato chips and dip, cocktail meat balls, cheese and crackers, pasta salad, macaroni salad.
