Freezing breaded tenderloin?

Dh wanted to buy a large pork tenderloin and make sandwiches. Our idea was cut, flatten and bread the patties. Fry the 2 we would eat for dinner, than wrap and freeze the rest. then when we want some for dinner just defrost 2 more. Dh was concerned about freezing the already breaded patties.

Does this sound feasable? Any tips?

Re: Freezing breaded tenderloin?

  • Go for it. Think of how many frozen, breaded & fried things you can find in the freezer section of the store - onion rings, fish sticks, etc. In Japan you could even buy breaded pork cutlets.

Just make sure you reheat them in an oven so they can crisp up again.
