T & P for Bella please!

I'm getting really worried that she actually tore versus pulled a muscle in her back leg :(  She's going to the vet in about half an hour.

Here she is looking sad to inspire your sympathy lol:

Re: T & P for Bella please!

  • Lots of good thoughts to Bella.  That IS a sad faced photo.
  • Full disclosure:  it's pretty close to her natural demeanor.  lol  In my mom's words, "That Bella, she's a happy girl!"  /sarcasm.
  • Aw bummer!  I hope the vet visit goes well!

  • They don't think it's a full tear, so that's good news.  Gave her steroids and we have to restrict activity for another week.

Are we crazy because we are considering taking our bed apart and just sleeping on the boxsprings and mattress so she won't be jumping on and off the bed?  Embarrassed  She is one spoiled dog!

  • I'm glad the results were good. Ellie was limping last week and we thought we were vet bound, but the night before she pretty much stopped limping and has been better ever since. I will be thinking about your Bella.

Our foster was just neutered and he can't (er, shouldn't) be jumping up on beds so I fashioned him a step to get onto the guest bed.  These are some lucky pets we have Smile

I'm so glad its not a really bad tear and she has such a sweet little face! FWIW, if my dog was in that situation I would so pull out the air mattress and sleep in the living room. My girl is spoiled too and I'm too sympathetic to her and would feel bad that she wouldn't be comfortable on the floor or in her kennel, lol.
