Know of a great park between Fenton and St. Charles

I know that is a pretty broad range, but we are doing some photos this weekend and need to find a great spot between Fenton and St. Charles. I would love any ideas or recommendations. Thanks so much!!

Re: Know of a great park between Fenton and St. Charles

  • Creve Couer Park - In maryland heights

    Queeny Park - In Manchester

    Faust Park - in Chesterfield

  • castlewood state park in chesterfield
  • Laumeier Sculpture Park in Sunset Hills.  Lots of cool sculptures for fun pictures!

Bee Tree Park in Oakville.  Riverside shots.

Route 66 State park in Eureka.  Large meadows for those afternoon sun "wheat field" pics.

  • It more or less depends on what kind of setting you want. Laumeir is in Sunset Hills off Watson, and would be great if you want some really interesting props and backgrounds. I walk my dog at Route 66 State Park in Eureka (exit at Lewis Road, follow the signs). It is a very natural area, and parts of it border the river. Castlewood in Ballwin is also really natural, but you might have a hard time finding a nice spot if it is a nice day because then it can be somewhat crowded. We love going to the Shaw Arboretum outside of Pacific, which really isn't in your target area but gorgeous as well. Faust Park in Chesterfield has some old pioneer cabins and some open areas as well as woods, and the Butterfly House is there too. That's pretty much all I have :)
