Anyone watch last night? I thought it was interesting when Andy said that 90% of the viewers feedback/questions for the show centered around Lindsay, Heather and Sarah's treatment of Beverly. I thought Sarah and Lindsay tried to backtrack and blame it on the "stress" of the show. Funny how Grayson didn't act the same way, maybe she wasn't feeling the same "stress"?
And Heather just kept digging herself a hole by not apologizing for her comment on Beverly's work ethic. I have to give her props for owning what she said and not trying to make excuses, but she still came off looking like a huge vagina. And man, has she gained weight since she was cut or am I just imagining things?
Eh, I still came away with a dirty taste in my mouth over the heifer sisters. I can't even feel bad that they've had outrageous things said about them on social media, emailed to them and calls to their restaurants. They showed their true colors on the show, good or bad. You can't be edited to look like a biitch if you don't act like a biiitch.
I thought the recap on Gail was really funny, with her exerts that they edited in to other scenes. I was loling at it.
Other thoughts?
Re: TC:Texas Reunion
Sarah and Heather made complete fools of themselves this season. I'm not surprised at the reaction they are getting from the public, though I do think a death threat is a bit much.
The Gail bit was hilarious! And the mediocre chef was also amusing. The reunion was far more entertaining than the rest of the season! I wish Heather would have apologized to Bev though, for shittalking her work ethic. That's pretty low and just shows Heather's true colors.
While I hated Sarah and Lindsey during the show, I am glad to hear that they apologized to Bev one-on-one, privately, for their respective behavior. They did seem to place blame on the show, the stress, the nature of working in a kitchen, but I give them a modicum of credit for apologizing.
I think Heather is a giant a-hole. I DESPISED her during the show and last night's Reunion did nothing to change my opinion of her. The fact that even the judges thought she was out of line should have told her something. As a PP said, it's a good thing (I guess?) that she's not backpedaling or fronting, but really it just amounts to her confirming that yes, she's an a-hole.
I love Grayson. And I love Malibu Chris. They were so cute when asked if they have a thing going.
Paul looked so humble when they were showing his rise to the top. I wasn't overly elated with this season, but of the group, I'm very glad that he's the one who took the title.
Who saw Tom'a face when Sarah denied it? She might not remember, but it was pretty apparent she did say it!
Yes! Also, I never heard Andy or anyone else say Emeril's name until she said it. If she didn't say it, why would she say it was supposedly said to Emeril. She has a lot of nerve. It was sh*tty of her to say that to him, not of the show to mention it.
I can't stand her, Heather or Lindsay, but I actually think she could be the worst of the bunch. Heather is at least upfront about the complete douchenozzle she is. Lindsey is simply not as horrible as either of them, although she still has her own special brand of terrible. Sarah playing innocent/sensitive whenever she is called on her crap just makes her more awful.
I got the impression that she was previously told that she said it to Emeril, so whether she really remembers saying it or not, she probably assumed everyone already knew who they were talking about.
I actually kind of agree that they shouldn't have brought it up. It's not like it was something that was ever going to air and we don't know the exact context of when she said it. They had plenty of other stuff available to make her look bad.
