How does my Easter menu look?
This is our first major holiday that we're hosting (with extended family)--we're excited but a little overwhelmed. Does this look ok?
Appetizers:
veggie tray
cheese and crackers
olive and antipasto platter
First Course:
some sort of soup (suggestions?)
Main Course:
leg of lamb with roasted potatoes
asparagus
green salad
Dessert:
cheeses
fruit
cake/cookies (it's also my daughter's birthday so we'll have her bday cake as dessert).
Re: How does my Easter menu look?
I'd omit the cheese for dessert if you're having it as an appetizer as well.
If you do soup, make it something "springy" - I had a cold watercress & pea soup at my baby shower that was served in little shooters. It was really good.
