100 pushup challenge

Hey Ladies! I was thinking I read on here about the 100 pushup challenge. Any thoughts about it? Anyone complete it? Were you pleased w your results?

Re: 100 pushup challenge

  • I'm not sure what the 100 pushup challenge is but my trainer has us all doing the pushup/situp challenge.  We do 1 pushup and 1 situp a day..

    Example

    Jan 1 - 1 situp, 1 pushup

    Jan 2 - 2 sit up, 2 pushup

    Jan 3 - 3 sit up, 3 pushup

ETC ETC.  When you're at the end of start of the new month you just keep going, Right now we're at 68 pushups and 68 situps.  We'll keep going until the end of the year.

  • hundredpushups.com? Sure. If you want to learn to do pushups go for it!

    I'm doing a 100-day pushup/situp challenge, like PP described. I'm on day 88.

  • That must be what I read!  I didn't know what it was called so I googled it! lol  Of course, there is an App for that!  lol  I'm going to start it tomorrow - we'll see what kinda results I get.  I have very little upper body strength and want to improve.  Who knows! Maybe one day I can do a real pushup and not the ones on my knees.  Lol
  • I started the challenge at hundredpushups.com a couple years ago and eventually got so bored with it that I stopped. I am now on week 3 of my second attempt, this time doing it with friends so it's not so dull. I really like it, and I can already tell a difference in my arms.

That's kind of a good idea I like it!

  • I did it last year and got to the point where I could do about 60 pushups at one time, so I was pretty pleased with that.  Then I just got lazy and quit Embarrassed

I do think it works though if you stick with it.
