now that I think of it, I have not. I did have a heavy flirtation going with a volunteer FF that I went to HS with but I knew that I could never actually date him because I'm a worrier and never got around to having the many shots of tequila together that we always joked about having (which would have certainly sealed the deal

I had this fantasy about a baseball player but once he was out of his uniform he looked way more lanky and way less hot. I couldn't get past his skinny legs. Nothing more happened.

LOL- I married him (but after he stopped touring and doing his hair weird)! Badboy musician types were always my norm so my fantasies are all about good guy lifesaver types. I call DH a 'reformed badboy'.

While in graduate school, I was out one night with my girlfriends and I met this super hot, blonde hair a la Brad Pitt in "Legends of the Fall", outdoorsy, rugged, buff guy. Turns out he was a white water rafting guide and just passing through town for the night before he was set to guide a rafting trip in South America for three months.
Ended up being a one night stand (and morning) of epic proportions. When you know you won't be getting much for three months in the wilderness...... I think I was sore for a good week.
I never heard or saw him again.
I had a fling with a guy who was in the Air Force. I'd show up to his apartment when he was still in his uniform *Drool* and it was the older BDUs (Battle Dress Uniform) not the new ACUs (Army Combat Uniform) that they wear (the digital camo. I can PIP if you need too). Growing up Air Force I was around these guys a lot but this guy. Mmmmmmmmm.
He was also an MP (Military Police) so it made it even better..Oh and he was from Delaware so he had wicked accent.

I took Geology my freshman year and we had an optional field trip to the Adirondacks for a weekend. I thought it was going to be really intense rock-nerd stuff, but it turns out that my professor owns a cabin there, right on a lake, and it was like 2 hours of actual classwork and then we went waterskiing, swimming and got drunk by the campfire the rest of the time.
We had an another adjunct prof along on the trip as an assistant and he was hot. Very rugged and outdoorsy-sexy, like Chris in "Northern Exposure". He had just returned from his PhD thesis trip where he'd lived on a glacier for a month.
He was totally hitting on me the whole way to the cabin and we ended up being the last two awake at the campfire, discussing ethics and world politics and all kinds of stuff that freshman do which probably sounded really dumb, but he humored me. We moved the hammock to hook up. Ended up with both of us totally naked out on the dock, watching the sun come up over the mountains and the lake. Never saw him again.
Nothing more than flirtation.
A guy i went to school with and have been friends with for 10+ years is now a Marine.

When I was single and living alone, there was a super hot neighbor guy that was a construction worker, complete with tan skin, washboard abs, amazing arm muscles, and he had blue eyes and blonde hair. He really could have been a model, I really think.
He ended up being a booty call for me, we really only saw eachother after 11pm and only for hookups. He never stayed the night or wanted anything serious, and really we had nothing in common when we did have to make conversation, but the sexytime was soooooo good! When I was a young 19 years old, there was this one 26 year old guy working at the same place who seemed to be "untouchable". All the girls thought he was rediculously hot, but knew that they never had a chance. I got to know this guy and we became good work friends. Then we had a class together and we became good friends outside of work. Then we started fooling around.
I'm going to marry that guy in 6 weeks!

I dated a very attractive marine who was fantastic, until I realized he had extremely violent tendencies
. Whomp whomp. (Side note, I still 10 years later freak out when people touch my neck.)
My deadbeat exbf was an Army guy, so that one was plain bad. Like LizO, he had some aggressive tendancies and he was verbally abusive. That struck military men from my list really quick, even though I know it was probaby more just him and not all military men in general.
Of course I have a thing for pro sports players, and my H did play soccer professionally in the peak of his career (in his 20's), but of course I didn't meet him until well after he was retired from playing in the pros. He was 35 when we met and already into coaching, but I still get excited to watch him play the few times he does still play for fun.
My ex was in the Army before I knew him, does that count? I never got to see him in his dress uniform or anything though.
As you all know, I'm married to a police officer so I get to see him in his sexy uniform every day.
I've always had a thing for men in uniform but nothing in particular. I like cops, military, firefighters...I'll take 'em all. I never had a fling with any before DH though.
