A Mental Note

Don't give Zoey kongs with frozen blueberries in them, unless I hammer into H's skull that he must pick up said kong when he lets her out of her crate.

Otherwise, Zoey ends up going back for the kong (with a now melted stuffing), and getting spots of blueberry juice on the light tan carpet.

Thank you H, and thank you Zoey.

But most of all, thank you Nature's Miracle for making little messes like this utterly disappear. Smile

Re: A Mental Note

  • haha.  This has happened at our house before, and I was definitely kicking myself!
  • Frozen blueberries as a treat in addition to a Raw diet?  I think Zoey likely follows a healthier diet than H and I, lol.

I was thinking the same thing!

and then I though - man, I wish I had some blueberries!

HAHAH!! Tell me about it! Zoey's diet is SOOOOO much healthier than mine or H's!  Her only "junk food" is the natural PB I also use in her kong. What a life!

  • Ugh. I totally know how you feel. I made up a kong mix for them once with blueberries and boysenberries, and didn't think twice about them bringing it out. Normally their kongs have apples, bananas, pb, applesauce, and a bit of raw honey (all relatively neutral colors). Big mistake to put staining berries in there, lol
