sneak pic of the new Lone Ranger
Armie Hammer is the Lone Ranger and Johnny Depp is Tonto. Depp's makeup reminds me a lot of the movie The Crow!

I love Johhny Depp, but something about this pic bugs me and I can't figure out why. Maybe because it does look a lot like The Crow, which in my mind makes it too theatrical for Tonto. It kind of seems like he's playing dress-up for some reason. I know he's part Cherokee, but I think they should have had someone like Nathanial Arcand or Michael Spears play Tonto (Arcand was Tonto in a TV movie and I thought he did a great job, the other guy not so much).
That being said, I'll still see the movie just because Depp is in it.
I hope I'll see Depp as Tonto, and not Depp. All I see in this photo is Johnny Depp with makeup. He can usually convince me but this shot isn't doing it.
I'm also worried about his role in Dark Shadows.
