My son loves going to the park but the one in our neighborhood is so-so. I am looking for one with baby swings, lots of slides, and maybe some picnic benches. We live in Southeast Orlando but we're willing to go somewhere far away if it's really good.
Thanks!
Re: Parks in Orlando
I think almost any city park would have what you are looking for. For older kids, I think the park next to Lake Eola looks fab! But our kiddos are a bit too young for it. You may want to check out Orlando's Parks and Recs website for parks near your area!
How cool that Cinderella visited your son in the hospital!!
I saw that your icon is a mission patch - do you work for NASA?
What a cool job! Are you going to be able to keep working after the last shuttle flight, or will you be laid off until the missions start up again?
No, I work in the life support systems group and we will keep supplying the space station with supplies and payloads until the new system ramps up. The news makes things out to be bad but there is a lot of work to do.
Haha, I've been tempted to go play there too. I can hardly wait until my son is a little bit older so that I have an excuse to do that.
