Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I mentioned the Pinterest issue on my local board, and today our mod posted this note from Bump Kathleen. I didn't see mention of it here, so I figured I would cross-post. Not sure if this makes anyone feel better, but just in case, I wanted to share. I'd hate to see everyone shift to an off-board!
"Update from Bump Kathleen:
Because some of our users were upset about their photos being pinned from the message boards, moving forward we will not be pinning community photos from users who we have not received permission from first. Our intention was never to reveal users' personal information, but to promote the boards and help them grow.
