There are a LOT of other videos I'd recommend to your gf instead of mine.
If you search on youtube, there are tons of beauty gurus who give tutorials on all different kinds of makeup stuff - and they're a lot more professional and detailed than mine as far as techniques go.

I do pretty much the same thing for work a lot too - but same as you, I tone it down and use lighter colors in my crease and don't do my eyeliner as dramatic.
