What candle scents are you burning these days?

March is kind of fun for me this way because I can burn anything to use it up and it still fits the season.

My current fave is Beanpod Beachwalk. If you have Beanpod where you live..you need. It just smells clean. Not grandma laundry detergent, not that weird grass scent stuff either and not what I'd associate with the beach either..lol. I don't know what it smells like but it's great.

I also have Mrs. Meyer's Spice Cake. It's a good scent. Smells like I baked..not really seasonal.

Beanpod Lemon is good too but a bit too fresh for me right now. Very summery in a good way.

I have Yankee Pineapple and Cilantro which is very sweet and "awake" smelling so to speak. H loves this one and he usually hates anything smelly.

I have a Beanpod Spruce to burn up..but it kind of stinks to me and gives H a headache, so it's shoved in the back of the cupboard for now. I may just stick it in the guest bath as an air freshner. It's non offensive and smells good when not lit but smells like burning tires and trees to me when it is..lol.

Sorry that got long!

  • I'm still burning through my Yankee Cinnamon Stick and Red Christmas Wreath (I think that is what it is called).  I love Yankee candles with anything gardenia or pineapple, so maybe that is what I will get for spring.

I opened all my windows today for a bit and LOVED the fresh air.  I know you do that sometimes, Dairy.  It was great for my house.

  • I just ordered Lovestruck from Gold Canyon. It was discontinued for a while and they brought it back so I am ridiculously excited about this.

  • I have a red hot cinnamon left from Christmas time and currently burning a chocolate pie one right now.

  • Walmart,  Better Homes & Gardens brand -  Creamy Tahitian Coconut scent . I completely burned one of the 3 wick ones last month & went back & got another one last week, it's gone now.   It smells delicious & you can smell it all over trhe house while it's burning.

I may have to get me one of those! Walmart candles always smell so good to me..I'm just scared they'll burn black..do they?

Yeah..I'm not usually a Yankee fan...but their pineapple ones are great to me!

I need to open my windows. I'd LOVE to open my windows. It's warm enough here but it's so damn ridiculously windy. I'd have piles of dust in my house and I'm worried I'd get the child sick. I will do it though the first non windy day we have!

  • I quit burning candles and converted to Scentsy. More affordable for me, and less scary with a toddler. Right now my favorite scents are the Sunkissed Citrus- regardless of the season. And Black Raspberry Vanilla..OMG.

the first one had a metal lid & did not smoke & burned slowly... the second one came with a plastic lid & burned faster & did smoke.  So if you decide to get one look for the ones with a metal lid.   It seems they changed the formulation to a cheaper product.  Smell was identical.

  • I just started burning Lemon Mint Leaf from Bath and Body Works. I am ready to head into the spring and summer scents! I also have been burning Seaside Escape from there.

Yeah..I do like Scentsy but I hate the fact I have to track down a salesperson. I do love the way it smells though.

I only burn candles on top of my stove way out of the reach of the crawlers and climbers in my life..I'm wayyy to paranoid to burn one anywhere else.

  • My favorite of all time is Pier 1's Asian Spice. It's a dark merlot color. I love it. i've been burning those for 12 or 13 years now.
  • I'm still burning a winter scent. Bath & Body Works and the scent is Cranberry Woods. I went into the store a week or so ago and didn't care for any of their new Spring scents.

  • I prefer a spicy smell no matter what time of year it is.  So my house usually smells like apple cinnamon or some variation thereof.  I use glade plugins.  I also like the yankee candle spiced vanilla.
