I used to like Kentucky... it's a shame that now that they're good, I can't stand their coach, so I don't like them. I had to change my Syracuse prediction since Melo's out. Still have them winning three games.
I have some very weird picks. I'm either going to be first or last in the pool. I went out on a limb because I knew I couldn't win with safe, boring picks. I have only one #1 seed in the final four and none in the championship game.
I asked my dad for help---telling him that since he watches a lot of games he better be better-versed than a bunch of chicks. (jk) Yes, I'm part of the "war on women." -eyeroll-
I'm thinking it's gotta be Kentucky or North Carolina.
I did a different kind of pool, limited to 16 people. We draw a number, 1 through 16, four times. Each time is a different region, and the number you pick is the seed you have to ride until they lose. I drew New Mexico State (13), Florida State (3), Memphis (8), and Creighton (8). I can't say I'm entirely thrilled with my picks. The winner is the person who drew the team that wins it all.
Anyway, I'm kind of ambivalent. I grew up in Michigan and would like to see Michigan State win (since my family cheers for them), DH went to Saint Louis U (9 seed in the West), and we both did our undergrad at Marquette (3 in the West).
But I don't like the Marquette coach, even though I think they'll perform the best. We'll see.

Well, as a UK alum, I'm obviuosly hoping they win. I'll also be cheering for Murray State. Would love to see them make it to at least the Sweet 16.
