not to ever get KTFU~ I have a slipped pelvic bone. Somehow, someway my pelvic bone has shifted pretty bad and thus is causing me hip/pelvic pain. Apparently this is common in women who've been pregnant (wtf?!) but I never have so I guess I just don't have a pelvis made for child bearing. So now I have PT 3x a week until it shifts back and I build up my core muscles. She said it can continue to happen forever but I'll know how to shift it back when I'm done with her.

Re: Reason 999,999...
ouchie!
I hope the PT works and you can get the strength back, that does not sound pleasant to deal with.
Oh, my!
I hope the PT helps quickly!
I don't really know, there hasn't been one specific incident that I can relate it to. I think it is related to when I started Crossfit last Aug and my body just not being strong enough to handle some of the exercises. I had trouble back then and then it got better, but about 3 weeks ago I worked out and went dancing in the same day and couldnt even move when I woke up the next day. Its been painful ever since. It My shoulder & leg placement are even way off because it shifted so much. Thankfully I'm not have any sciatic nerve problems which she said is really common with this shift.
Wow, I hope you feel better soon.
I am glad you decided to have it checked out, but sorry to hear it was more serious than you initially thought.
I am waiting at the clinic right this very second to get a PT referral.
I hope your pain doesn't interfere with your upcoming marathon and you're able to participate. My therapist told me specifically no running/pounding of any kind (for now). I did jumping jacks the other day and she said absolutely no more until she says so! At least I can ride my bicycle for now because its going to be very warm here this week.
Excellent because sexxy time is a little uncomfortable! It was funny she was trying to make me flex my lower ab area and I couldnt do it properly
I've done some PT for my hip, I can only imagine the pain you must be in! I hope it helps quick and you start feeling better!
