So, how is it going?
FF predicted ovulation for a day and then switched it a few days later. I think the second one is right, making me 8dpo. I had a big temperature dip and a very tiny bit of spotting this morning. In theory, at this point, it would look like it could be a good thing. However, I had a short 2nd half of my cycle last month. I started spotting at 8dpo and my period started at what would have been 12dpo. So yeah, not too optimistic.

Same old, same old. Just a whole lot of nothing. I (still) ovulate fine but that seems to be about it. We have to wait to save up enough $$ before going back to the RE.

I didn't realize y'all were TTC again! May I ask, are you starting early because you think it will take a while? Or do you want them as close together as possible?
Actually, both. My siblings are all appx 1.5-2 years from eachother (there are 5 of us) and it was great growing up & even better now as adults. Since we know it will take a while (since it took 2 years for Gabby), we just think "what the heck" and are keeping our fingers crossed that pregnancy "fixed" my body.

We had a session with a therapist/social worker this morning that was pretty good. She thinks we're in a good place and that we've done great research and we got to talk out loud about what we're worried about most, which was nice.
Then this afternoon a 25 pound tank with 3 vials of sperm arrived via Fed Ex, I brought them down to the local cryobank where they're going to live until we need them and now the tank is waiting to be picked up to go back to CA.
And pregnant friend gifted me with her Clearblue Fertility Monitor a couple of weeks ago which is awesome..it will make the worry about when to do the IUI a little less of an issue since I'll be able to see when it goes from Low to High to Peak more clearly than with the internet cheapie OPKs that I was using. So, I'm on CD 7, I 'O' anywhere from CD 19 to 27 sooo...we've got a while to go for this cycle
I got nothin'. I'm on the pill. And I still have brown spotting almost every day, a week and a half into my pills, so I think I'm calling my OB tomorrow to see if I need a different pill, or to just wait it out.
I am so tired of spotting.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Ask about an Estradiol supplement. It could end the spotting, depending on where your levels are, you may just need some evening out, especially if you're on a progesterone only pill.

I think mine is a combo pill. It's some brand I haven't heard of Kelnor/Zovia. I will definitely ask about that though. I've never had my estradiol level checked. That was one of the tests I was going to have done when I spotted before, but then I got pregnant so we never investigated.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
I didn't know you were either. That's awesome! Good luck!
And good luck to all you other ladies as well!

I like the sound of that plan !

Go DD go!
My update - I called my OBs office to tell them I'm still spotting 1.5 weeks into the pill, and they said "Unfortunately that can be a side effect of the pill, but it should regulate in 3 TO 4 MONTHS!!!" I am PISSED. My agreement with my doc was I would do this for two months. If it's not going to work for 3-4 months, I am not sure I am cool with that. I found this out right before therapy and cried my friggin' eyes out. She thinks I should ask them if I should go back on a pill I've taken before (since I've never had spotting problems on the pill), but I don't know if that will mess up my body even more. GRRRR.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Oh, no, no, no. I would not be standing for that. The pill shouldn't make you spot. And it does not take the pill 3-4 months to regulate itself. Just like it doesn't take a year for the pill to stop working. People (some of whom work in doctor's offices) say stupid sh!t like this all of the time. You probably need to take a whole cycle's worth of this BCP, but if you're still spotting at the end of the month, I'd have them change me. I use to change BCP pretty often, just because I'd want to try something new or there'd be free samples of something. It should be NBD. The whole point is supposed to be to get you back "regular." If you're telling your doctors that nothing's changed, they best be listening.
I assume they've done bloodwork/hormone level tests. ?? Everything's normal with your testosterone, progesterone, etc?
Did you talk to your doctor or an advice nurse? You need to speak to your physician who handles your case, because if they don't intend to have you on it for 3-4 months, that is not an applicable solution.

DD - I've never had CD3 bloodwork done. I was supposed to after I got my 7DPO progesterone checked in June, but then I got pregnant so we didn't do it. I did have a u/s on CD3ish at the RE office to look at pre-follies and he said that was normal which was what the blood work is supposed to look at (according to him). I asked him if I still should have that blood work done and he said no, but that was also before the spotting came back (and their nurses referred me back to my OB).
Mary -- it was a nurse I talked to. They called back really fast and put me offguard so I didn't get a chance to really explain things. I have access to send an "email" to my doctor so I may try that, but I don't know who actually reads/responds to them.
Sorry to hijack the thread, ladies. Good luck to everybody! ((hugs))
