Homemade treats

I was thinking about making some homemade treats for my 2 year old pug.  He's currently on Wellness Core for his food and I don't want something I make him to mess with his system.

Does anyone have suggests for quality homemade treats?

Diagnosed PCOS and hypothyroidism 2/12. Began Metformin and Synthroid 2/12. Currently waiting to redo blood work before moving on to clomid and IUI hopefully by May/June. BabyFruit Ticker http://i47.tinypic.com/2le2wxg.png

Re: Homemade treats

  • I have a couple in my blog, just click on the "dog recipes" label.
  • I like this site for homemade treats. We make the freeze dried liver treats as well as freeze dried chicken, natural hot dogs, cheddar cheese (a favorite), and turkey.

  • We've been dehydrating chicken & turkey slices for jerky-like treats at home. Our dehydrator was a xmas gift and was around $30-40. It's paid for its self in jerky usage!
