Injured. To yoga or not to yoga...
I jacked up my shoulder yesterday skating. It hurt when I did it, then,
when I was getting into my truck, I heard POP just below my shoulder
and felt something snap. It hurt like a mother. I spent all day
yesterday with ice and ibuprofen, which helped, but I'm still store as
hell today. Part of me thinks yoga would do be some good. The other
part feels like it'd be a waste because I can't put much weight on that
arm right now. Should I go, or skip it and continue to recoup while
watching "Once Upon a Time?"
Re: Injured. To yoga or not to yoga...
I'm with you. I took a hard fall snowboarding yesterday and strained all the muscles in the back of my neck. I am so sore I can barely sit up or roll over, let alone run/workout. I'm dreading going back to work tomorrow. I took today off to go to the doctor and recover.
Only you know what your pain level is and how you feel. It won't hurt you to give yourself and extra rest day to recover. Personally, I probably wouldn't with how you have described it.
