Please share your tried and true tzatziki recipe
and also a good recipe for traditional greek salad. I've tried several recipes and they just don't taste like I want them to (like what we get at the local greek fest) Thanks

elly says opa! blog
thanks.
here it is: http://ellysaysopa.com/2007/03/14/elly-is-still-saying-opa/
A traditional Greek salad is just tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, kalamata olives, red onion, dried oregano, and olive oil. I usually also add a drizzle of red wine vinegar but that's not "traditional." Some people also add green bell peppers.
American greek salads have lettuce, and often have a creamy dressing. Here's my version of that dressing BUT I make mine more acidic so you can swap the olive oil and vinegar portions.
