Guess how the H spent his first day of spring break yesterday? Gun shopping with his friend and he brought home an assault rifle, complete with one of those bullet belts you strap over yourself. 
Kind of took me by surprise, it's rather large. When he picks it up the dogs get scared and hide behind me, it's really cute they can sense the intense damage that thing can do.
I am to assume he will spend a few hours at some point this week at the gun range to test it out. I kinda hope I get a chance to fire it off, it looks bad ass.

My brother has a handgun and he took me to the range years ago. It was a lot of fun.
I don't even know, something in that category, though. I know he said what it was but things like that go in one ear and out the other, now I can't recall which kind it is.
I was too busy looking at it and not listening to what he said it was. It's the first rifle, though. We only have pistols and a shotgun previously.
H got confirmation that his gun should be shipping soon. He's building a Mil Spec (Military Specification) AR-15. If I like the way it shoots, we're buying me one.
We already have our two hand guns, a Mosin Nagant (a Russian Rifle), a 30-30 deer rifle and a 12 ga. shot gun. We're also looking into getting me a 20 ga. shot gun
