Recipe for whole chicken in crock-pot
I thought I'd bookmarked a recipe for a whole chicken in my crock-pot but I can't seem to find it. Does anybody have a recipe?

Sometimes I just season it with garlic powder, salt, pepper, stuff it with a lemon and put it in the crockpot on top of quartered onions, some carrots, and celery. Cook on low 6 hrs.
Other times I use this marinade:

and just put it in and cook it.
After we eat I always take the meat off the bones, return the bones and onions, carrots, celery to crock, cover with water and put on low overnight, then you have stock in the morning!

Whole chicken in a crockpot
So Tasty, So Yummy
I didn't like picking through all the tiny chicken bones after I did the whole chicken in the crockpot.
I think I just seasoned my bird, stuffed the cavity with lemons and fresh herbs, and tossed in some water so it wouldnt stick to the bottom of my crockpot
This looks delicious! Do you get a frozen chicken? Do you thaw it before putting it in the crock pot?
