Kinda got another dog today, not sure if she is staying UPDATE
I took a friend to the store and while waiting spot a doxi running around. So I get out of the car and she comes right up to me and gives me kisses. I scope her up and go to the door of the store and ask if she belong to anyone inside, and they said no they have had to get her out 5 times since yesterday, and to please take her. So I did!
She is so loving, kind, and currently in heat, so she has a diaper on. She has to be someone's pet because she has been feed well, has been bathed (you can still smell traces of the shampoo). So I have put out the word to contact me if you have lost your doxi.
If no one claims her she will become part of our family, she has already taken to Belle, and they are both curled up on the couch sleeping. I want to get her spayed but I need to find out if she belongs to anyone first so for now it will diapers till its over. Oh her tail has been hurt before because its half gone but so cute.
What should I call her since she might belong to someone else?
****UPDATE****
Lucy is her name and she is reunited with her human as of about 5 minutes ago. Turns out she just got her just less than the week before and had an appointment for the vet for today to get spayed and shots and microchipped but she went into heat and took off before she could get her to the vet. She was so thankful and tried to buy my family dinner (I did not take it, I would hope someone would do the same thing for me). I gave her a few diapers and let her know she can still get spayed while in heat it would just cost extra. She is on her way to the vet now!

She sounds very sweet! I hope you're able to find her owner, sounds like she's very loved.
Maybe just call her Doxie? Jane Doe? Jane or Doe for short?
Before you get too attached, please do everything you can to find her owners.
Call vet offices, call your local AC, call rescues, and let them all know that you have her.
A vet office can also scan her for a microchip.
I have done so, and nothing yet. I have to word out. Its more than likely her being in heat caused her to get out. Her nails are super long though, so one side hopes she belongs to someone and they are trying to find her, and another part hopes she stays with us. .
She is currently curled up with my oldest on his bed. He got hurt earlier and she has stayed pretty close to him licking his face.
