my poor dog was attacked this weekend
Our dog got attacked while DH was taking him for a walk. DH got bit too. Another dog somehow escaped from its yard after DH and Murphy walked past the house. We have a chocolate lab mix and he's about 60 lbs. The other dog was a little smaller than him.
Both DH and Murphy are fine now. They were treated at the ER and e-vet. Plus Murphy had a followup yesterday with our regular vet.
Owner has claimed full responsiblity. Her dog is up to date on shots. She says she will pay vet/hospital bills.
Poor Murphy is still pretty shaken up. You can tell he's stressed. What can we do to help him out?

Re: my poor dog was attacked this weekend
Accidents happen. Perhaps the dog got out of the door and made a mad dash for it as the owner had the door open.
I hope all turns out well for everyone involved. GL.
Disagree. He's a dog groomer with a good TV personality. He never studied animal behavior.
OP, do you know any one with a calm dog? I'd try to expose him to positive interactions with other dogs. My lab got attacked by my foster dog, and was starting to act skittish around other dogs. So, I met another friend at a park, and we just walked our dogs together until Owen seemed comfortable, and then he started initiating play.
